Do them in this order. Step 2 needs step 1.
  1. First… Step 1: JOIN THE TESTER GROUP On the page that opens, tap the Join group button. Opening the page does nothing on its own. Ignore any links inside the group until you have joined.

    Use the same Google account that is signed in on your Android phone. That is the account Google checks. (opens in a new tab)
  2. Then… Step 2: GET THE GAME Tap Become a tester, then install from the Play Store link that appears. Do step 1 first. (opens in a new tab)

    Step 2 is a dead end until step 1 goes through. If it says you are not a tester, you probably did not tap Join group — go back to step 1 and tap it. If you did join, give Google a few minutes to process it, then reload. Still stuck after that? Ask in Discord (opens in a new tab).

What changed in this build →

The small print

  • Android only. There is nothing to install on iPhone yet.
  • Closed test. The build changes often and things will break. Tell us when they do.
  • It can take a few minutes to show up after you join. That is normal.
  • Use your phone's Google account. A different account will not see the build.
