How a capture works
-
Land on a rival
Your roll puts you on their square. In plain Ludo that's the end of it. Here it's the start.
-
Ten seconds, one duel
One of eight mini-games starts, picked at random. You both play the same one, head to head.
-
Winner keeps the square
Win and their pawn goes home. Lose and yours does, even though you made the move.
The dice decide where you move. The duels decide who stays.
Eight duels
You never know which one is next. The game picks one at random on every capture, and never the same one twice in a row.
- Reaction Test Tap the instant the signal appears. Fastest wins.
- Tic-Tac-Toe Get three in a row on the grid before your rival.
- Stop the Needle Tap to stop the needle closest to the target.
- Direction Tap Tap the direction each arrow points. Most wins.
- Ink Colour Ignore the word. Tap the colour of the ink.
- Number Hunt Tap 1 to 9 in order. Fastest wins.
- Tap Higher Two numbers flash. Tap the higher one, fast.
- Rock Paper Scissors Pick rock, paper or scissors. Best of 3 wins.
Two boards
The classic board you grew up with. 2 to 4 players.
Three sides, three colours. 2 or 3 players, so your turn comes round sooner.
